COVID 19 Update – Office Closure


It is with a heavy heart that I have to inform all my clients that our office will be closing as from 12pm today (Monday 24th March 2020).
 
I don’t need to go into the reasons for this, but I must put the health of my staff before anything else.
 
Lucy, Justine and Amber will continue to work from home for the foreseeable future and will have access to their emails. I will continue to go into the office for as long as possible, being a minutes’ walk from home I don’t feel that this will be an issue.
 
I would ask that, wherever possible, please try to email any queries as I cannot guarantee that I will be in the office full time to take phone calls. All of us will do our utmost to continue to provide the best service we possibly can but understandably our response times may be longer than usual.
 
Following the Chancellor’s press conference Friday, we will soon be sending out as much information as we can. Unfortunately, I don’t have a hotline to the Chancellor and any information that’s available is a bit sketchy. These measures are going to take time to implement and even HMRC have cut their hours due to staff shortages.
 
However, the most important advice I can give to you all is this: –
 
Your health and your family are the most important thing in this world.
 
I know how worried and scared everyone is, don’t forget I have a business too with 3 fantastic staff. So please, heed the Governments advice, don’t put yourself and your family at risk. This is serious.
 
Also, I know for a fact that there are elderly people out there who can’t get food, please spare a minute to check the Shefford Town Council website for details of their emergency food plan which we can all help with to some degree. If you’re not in the area maybe your local council is doing the same.
